The southern edge of the front garden had been overrun with weeds and suffering from lack of light. With the pruning of the front hedge and a couple of big trees it is now ready to reinvigorate. The Clippersisters have started preparing for planting.
The plan is run a brick edging around to match the rest of the garden and plant a few shrubs that match the rest of the garden.

16 Years On
With very little care and attention the garden ran riot. Even after some severe work by the ClipperSisters it is still difficult to imagine that this shot below was taken from the same spot!
The growth in the palms and trees make it difficult to see the change. The next photo taken from the lower balcony gives you a better idea. The hedge has been pruned by a metre for this photo and the ClipperSisters have exposed the brick edging which had grown over completely.

Front Garden Circa 1997
This picture was taken soon after we moved in to the house in 1997. The low murraya hedge, the newly planted box elder and the range of shrubs with a variety of colour. The brick edging is clear. The cotoniaster is under control.
